Nicolo Alessi machineheads

These are a new addition to the machines I am using. They are made by Nicolo in Tuscany, Italy to a very high standard.The gearing is very deep and positive and the plates are solid brass. Buttons are in Ivory (synthetic) Black horn or Mother of Pearl. The barrels have a unique mechanism that eliminates friction on the wood and are completely smooth running.
